Monday, August 30th
18 holes at the Muir of Ord Golf Course, and
will either be followed by or preceded by a trip to
the Glen Ord distillery*.
Muir-of-Ord Golf Club is one of the oldest golf
clubs in the north of Scotland, built in 1875. A
heath-land course with tight fairways and tricky
greens requiring a deal of accuracy.


Tuesday, August 31st
18 holes at the Royal Dornoch Golf Course,
and will either be followed by or preceded by a trip
to the Glenmorangie distillery*.  
Formed in 1877, Dornoch has been a Royal Club
for over 100 years!  Rated one of the Top 10
courses in Scotland,  it was one of the first 3 courses
in existence in 1616.

Wednesday, September 1st
18 holes at the Championship Course
at
Nairn Golf Course.
Nestling on the shores of the Moray Firth this
Traditional Scottish Golf Links Course was created
from a Highland wilderness of gorse and heather,
and tests the talents of professional and amateur
alike. Founded in 1887, it is now one of the best
courses in Scotland, and has hosted a large number
of important championships.

Thursday, September 2nd
18 holes at Tain Golf Course with stops at
Dalmore Distillery* and Tain Pottery.
Tain is a traditional Scottish Highland links course
designed in 1890 by Old Tom Morris, its called his
Northern Jewel. Overlooking the Dornoch Firth,
golfers have sea on one side and mountains behind  
them.  Tain offers one of the best settings
imaginable in the highlands for a round of golf .


Friday, September 3rd
18 holes at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Course
Course architect James Braid's remarkable
achievement in designing 18 challenging holes within
the narrow Chanonry peninsula is instantly obvious
and admired by first-time visitors. Playing to one's
handicap, therefore, is never easy, especially if
conditions are windy.











Accommodation
August 30th - September 4th
Coul House Hotel was built in 1821 for Sir
George Mackenzie. The Mackenzies of Coul had
owned a house here since 1560, and in the 19th
century decided to build themselves a new mansion.
The house, which was visited by Queen Victoria in
1888, is a listed Grade A building, almost perfectly
symmetrical in shape.  9-hole Pitch & Putt on the
grounds and a comfortable “Lounge.”
